Starting off our eMove Cruiser review, we have to say that this model offers one of the best ranges currently available on the market. Everything about the eMove Cruiser screams quality; a quality design, quality materials and most importantly, quality control.
In fact, quality control and consistency is so important that all batteries are created in ISO Certified manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistency in all battery packs. As a US based company competition is high, with many high quality, state of the art electric scooter models created here. As such, the eMove Cruiser is no exception, with eMove offering extensive support, customer and product care, spare parts and much more.
Back to performance, the eMove Cruiser offers an incredible 62 mile range, alongside a rapid 25 mp/h (45 km/h) top speed; more than enough for casual commuters and ecstatic eScooter enthusiasts alike. Save your wrists constant strain with cruise control, simply set your speed, activate cruise control and relax.
Of course, we’re a long way off self driving scooters, so keep your eyes open and pay attention to the road! With a 52V 600W motor (and a peak power of 1600W), accelerating to that sensational top speed is an ease, alongside tackling inclines of up to 10 degrees.

As previously mentioned, the speed, power and range offered by the eMove Cruiser definitely puts it up there with some of the best electric scooters on the market. The magnificent 52V 600W motor has a peak power potential of up to 1600W, that’s some potent power! This motor propels the eMove Cruiser to a top speed of 25 mp/h (45 km/h), just 5 mp/h under most urban/residential area speed limits.
However, the real crowning jewel for this eScooter is the remarkable range, offering up to 62 miles from a single charge; this means a single charge would last for weeks for those only commuting a few miles a day. We believe this incredible range more than makes up for the relatively long charge time of 9-12 hours. Furthermore, user adjustable speed/acceleration parameters mean that riders can tweak performance settings to perfectly match their skill level.

25 mp/h (45 km/h) – just 5 mp/h under the average speed limit for most residential areas & cities (30 mp/h).
What age/weight is it suitable for?
Supports rider weights of up to 330 lbs (150 kg). There is no official statement from eMove on the recommended age, however we don’t consider this a kids electric scooter. Therefore, we believe that anyone over the age of 13+ best suits this e-scooter.

Moving on to battery life and charging; the Cruiser requires a comparatively long charging time of 9-12 hours. However, the range and battery life offered once charged is phenomenal – running for up to 62 miles off a single charge. As such, those only commuting a few miles a day should expect weeks out of just one charge, incredible!

Battery protection & safety
Whilst there is no official statement on the battery protection protocols in place, the Cruiser claims an IP67 waterproof rating throughout the entire scooter, from battery housing to frame and everything in between. As such, you never have to worry about rain, snow, dust and any other such particles from damaging your awesome new ride. Lastly, all batteries used in manufacturing created in ISO Certified facilities, ensuring extreme quality and consistency in all battery packs.
How long will the battery last for?
The average quality premium lithium ion battery operates for around 500-1000+ charges before starting to deteriorate. Even charging on a daily basis, which probably isn’t with this model, this would take around 2-3+ years. Also, with such emphasis on quality, it’s likely that riders should expect well over 1000 charges from their eMove Cruiser.

No expenses spared for the design of this e-scooter; the high quality aluminium alloy used in manufacturing ensures a sturdy, durable yet lightweight frame. Alongside this, high quality front and rear hydraulic brakes ensure greater safety and stronger braking power. Fun and functionality are definitely intertwined with this scooter design; the 25 mp/h top speed is definitely enough to raise hairs, whereas there is also a cruise control functionality for those leisurely journeys.
In terms of ergonomics, the scooter deck is spacious, offering ample foot room and a number of conveniently located controls. For starters, the LCD display situated near the centre of the handlebar ensures that riders stay updated and can check their status at a mere glance. The brake levers and throttle are also nicely positioned in exactly where you’d expect.
The rear fender brake is extremely responsive and a great backup for when your brake levers aren’t cutting it. Front dual and rear air shock suspension also ensure that riders soak up otherwise unforgiving hits with ease and help maintain a smooth ride throughout the journey.
Alongside this, automotive grade, tubeless pneumatic tires are a great additional, ensuring that you never have to worry about a flat tire again. All in all, the eMove Cruiser is solidly designed with all the features you’d expect from a high-end performance electric scooter.

Lightweight aluminium alloy frame with solid rubber tires and handle grip.
Can it be used as a regular scooter?
Yes- with an included key for locking and unlocking your eScooter, we believe it possible to use the eMove Cruiser as a regular scooter when unlocked. However, we’re unaware of any additional locking/security features when out of battery.
Does it connect to your smartphone via app or Bluetooth?
No – unfortunately there is currently no Bluetooth/mobile app support.
Build quality and ease of use
As previously mentioned, the eMove Cruiser places a high emphasis on build quality; using only the highest quality materials and placing importance on strict quality control throughout the manufacturing and production process.
Overall, this is one sturdy scooter and a solid build, effectively the tank of high-end performance scooters, minus offroad functionality. Further featuring a fully folding frame, making transporting and storing this scooter a breeze. Not only this, but an additional seat installation is also available, perfect for those who get tired standing on their long commutes.
Front high quality front and rear hydraulic brakes ensure greater safety and stronger braking power. Front & rear suspension aid in tackling potholes and other damaging hits to ensure minimal impact and a smooth riding experience.
In terms of ease of use, the eMove Cruiser is both extremely easy to use and get the hang of, with adjustable power and speed options to accommodate for all skill levels. Getting started with this scooter is simple, just turn the key, start the engine and off you go!

Moving on to safety, the Cruiser features high quality front & rear hydraulic brakes, helping ensure greater safety with stronger braking power. Alongside this, a rear fender brake adds even greater braking power, helping you to stop on a dime. Tubeless pneumatic tires also aid in roadside use, eliminating the risk of getting a flat tire or puncture from sharp objects and potholes.
Furthermore, the inclusion of front, side, rear and signal lights greatly aid riders in staying seen and safe, no matter the time of day. However, we still recommend wearing a high-visibility jacket and helmet when riding in the dark.
The top speed also accounts into why the eMove Cruiser makes for a great roadside scooter; a top speed of 25 mp/h, just 5 mp/h below the average speed limit of many towns and cities. Keeping up with cars will pose no issues, alongside the increased mobility aiding in getting home before they do. All in all, the eMove Cruiser is one of the safer electric scooters on the market, especially with the additional signal lights and power settings.

Restrictions and availability
As a US based company, it’s safe to say that the Cruiser is available in North America. As far as we’re aware, eMove ship the Cruiser worldwide, with obvious exceptions for certain countries. However, we recommend that you double check your local laws to ensure that your region allows for such transportation methods.
