ANCHEER Electric Mountain Bike Review & Overview
For starters, the ANCHEER Power Plus electric mountain bike is incredibly cost-effective and competitively priced for the performance offered. The materials used throughout production are clearly of high quality; with the frame fashioned out of a lightweight yet highly durable aluminium alloy. A highly durable carbon steel fork absorbs harsh hits and soaks up shocks for a smooth ride. Alongside this, the seat and handlebar are fully height adjustable, allowing riders to perfectly suit their shape and size.
Furthermore, the 21-speed transmission system means that you’ll always have the perfect gear for the job. Aesthetically speaking, ANCHEER remain true to the classic mountain bike design, featuring a taller frame and bigger wheels. However, due to this the frame does not fold; making this mountain eBike better suited to enthusiasts and casual riders, rather than commuters going to work.
This model also features an upgraded 500W “Pro EB007” edition, offering a bigger battery, increased range, higher top speed and more. Lastly, ANCHEER offer one year service for the electric motor, battery and charger for all official purchases, alongside also offering an assembly service.

Powered by a silent, brushless 250W motor that propels the ANCHEER mountain eBike to speeds of up to 15 mp/h. Alongside this, the 36V 8Ah battery (discussed below) offers enough juice for a range of up to 25-50 km. Whilst the top speed and range are relatively low compared to high-spec competitors, this is still great performance for such a low price. Alongside this, the Pro EB007 model features a more powerful 500W motor enabling it to reach speeds of up to 20 mp/h. Furthermore, this upgraded model also offers a range of approx. 40 miles and features a bigger battery than the standard model. The standard 250W model offers a top speed of 15 mp/h, with the 500W Pro EB007 model offering a top speed of up to 20 mp/h.
What age/weight is it suitable for?
Whilst there is no official statement on the recommended age for this mountain eBike, we believe it most suitable for teens and adults aged 13+ and over 5″. Furthermore, the ANCHEER supports weights of up to 150 kg (330 lbs), whilst weighing just 23 kg (50 lbs).
What is the range/distance?
25-50 km electric-only range, with the Pro EB007 model boasting a bigger battery and offering a max. range of up to 40 miles. Please note, variables such as rider weight, terrain, incline, etc. will impact overall performance. Lastly, riders in assisted pedal mode should expect a marginal increase in range and battery life.

Moving on to the battery life & charging section of our ANCHEER mountain eBike review. The ANCHEER boasts a 36V 8Ah Lithium-ion battery that offers riders a range of approx. 25-50 km. Alongside this, it’s also fully removable and lockable, allowing riders to charge their battery both on/off the frame and in a variety of locations.
What’s more, riders can also order spare/replacement batteries to use as a backup. Furthermore, these spares allow riders to swap and replace their dead batteries whilst on the move, meaning that you can practically double, triple, quadruple, etc. your riding time. Riders can easily check the status of their battery during their ride, thanks to the LCD display showing ride mode and battery life. These 36V 8Ah Lithium-ion batteries take approx. 4-6 hours to charge from empty, which is still fairly decent considering the price.
This is especially true when compared to other similarly priced competitors, often requiring 12+ hours of charging for a similar range. This charge time still remains the same for the upgraded Pro EB007 model; although it does offer enhanced range and top speed, on account of its bigger battery.

How long will the battery last for?
An average Lithium-ion battery has a life span of approx. 500-1000+ charge cycles before any faults arise. As a high quality Lithium-ion battery, riders should expect the latter of 1000+ charge cycles before expecting any issues. For perspective, even if you were charging and using this mountain eBike on a daily basis, it would still take around 2-3+ years to reach this point.

As expected, ANCHEER have stuck to the classic mountain bike design, with a tall frame and large wheels. However, the frame itself is fashioned from aluminium alloy, resulting in an extremely lightweight yet durable eBike that weighs just 23 kg (50 lbs). To further attest to the strength of this design, the ANCHEER supports a max. weight of up to 150 kg (330 lbs), over 6 times its own weight. Ergonomically speaking, the Power Plus is easy and comfortable to ride, with an adjustable handlebars and seat. Riders can easily park and balance their bike, thanks to the included kickstand.
Back to the design, which certainly remains sleek and stylish without compromising on quality; using the incredibly strong carbon steel front fork as an example. This front fork easily absorbs harsh hits and sharp shocks, resulting in a much smoother ride. Alongside this, the ANCHEER Power Plus also features a 21-speed transmission system, meaning that riders will always have the perfect speed to suit their needs. Further featuring a kickstand for easy parking/balancing, alongside a bright LED headlight and horn for roadside/night time use.

Build quality and ease of use
As expected, the build quality of the ANCHEER Power Plus electric mountain bike is very high. The durable aluminium alloy frame is also very lightweight, resulting in a weight of just 23 kg and max. weight of approx. 150 kg. The carbon-steel front fork is incredibly durable and soaks up harsh hits with ease, aiding in maintaining a smooth and safe ride.
The battery used is a high quality 36V 8Ah Lithium-ion battery predicted to last approx. 3+ years. What’s more, ANCHEER also offer one year service for the electric motor, battery and charger for all official purchases, alongside an assembly service.
Whilst the display is convenient, we feel it could be improved to convey more information and possibly upgrading it to an interactive digital display. The 21-speed transmission system is insane, with riders always having the perfect gear on hand to suit their needs.
In terms of ease of use, the high frame best suits fit and able bodied riders capable of mountain a waist high seat. Of course, riders can adjust the seat and handlebars to best suit them, making this electric mountain bike a great choice for all shapes and sizes. All in all, the ANCHEER electric mountain bike is solidly built using quality materials, extremely easy to get the hang of riding and very fairly priced.

Moving on to one of the most important sections in our ANCHEER electric mountain bike review, safety and roadside use. As expected, the ANCHEER is obviously best suited to off-road mountain bike use, however it still offers roadside functionality.
The horn situated on the handlebar allows riders to quickly and easily alert pedestrians or other traffic of your presence. Dual front & rear disc brakes ensure remarkably responsive braking power, allowing riders to execute sharp and precise stops on demand.
Furthermore, the ANCHEER Power Plus also features a bright LED headlight, brake light and reflective strips, aiding you in both seeing and staying seen during dark days. However, the relatively low top speed of 15 mp/h means that this eBike is unable to compete with conventional traffic.
Even the upgraded Pro EB007 version offers a top speed of only 20 mp/h, which is still slow compared to cars. Therefore, we believe that the ANCHEER best suits the pavement, bike lane or side of the road. Lastly, we insist that riders wear adequate safety gear when riding on roads or at night, including a high visibility jacket and helmet.
Is the ANCHEER Electric Mountain Bike waterproof?
Whilst we were unable to find any official waterproof rating, multiple reviews confirmed that the ANCHEER does offer some degree of mild water resistance. However, we don’t recommend testing this or submerging your eBike for any period of time.

As far as we’re aware, ANCHEER ship worldwide and to every continent, with exceptions for certain countries due to law or political reasons. In this section, we analyse the price history of a number of listings, alongside additional data to determine the likelihood of any ANCHEER electric bike discounts and deals. As we can see from the price chart below, the prices for this mountain eBike shot up in October and remained at that price until December, where it return to its original price.
We believe this was done to give the illusion of a discount by hiking up the prices and “lowering” them back to the original price in Christmas.
