Powered by a 5400W dual motor with a 6600W max. output, propelling riders to speeds of up to 50 mp/h (80.4 km/h). Riders will have no issues tackling inclines of up to 25 degrees with minimal impact on performance, making it a great eScooter for climbing hills. As you might expect, this model is one of the fastest electric scooters we’ve reviewed to date. The speed & range offered is rather ridiculous, even pushing 45 mp/h in protective gear was a scary experience.
Of course, adrenaline junkies and speed demons alike will love the Dualtron Ultra V2, giving some of the best performance on the market. We believe this raw motor power is partially in thanks to the top quality Li-ion battery, sourced from LG & discussed in greater detail below.

How fast does it go?
50 mp/h (80.4 km/h), making it one of the fastest electric scooters we’ve reviewed in 2023.
What age/weight is it suitable for?
Although no recommended age is disclosed, we believe this model most suitable for riders over the age of 18+. This is predominantly due to its potent power & top speed, which could cause potential danger to inexperienced or younger riders. In terms of suitable weight, the Dualtron Ultra V2 supports loads of up to 265 lbs (120 kg); fairly average considering its own weight of 81 lbs (36 kg). We believe most of the extra weight went into a bigger battery and motor.
What is the range/distance?
Off a single charge, riders should expect an average range of approx. 75 miles (120 km). However, please note that variables such as rider weight, mode, terrain, incline, etc. will impact overall performance.
Can it be used offroad?
Yes. Due to the high-tier tires used in the design and potent power, this model offers a great level of off-road functionality; alongside excelling at on-road usage. In fact, Dualtron state that these 11″ super-wide tube/tires are suitable for both “urban and off-road”, making an ideal & versatile eScooter perfect for all tastes.
Does it lose power uphill?
This model only starts to lose power past inclines of over 25 degrees, also making it one of the best electric scooters for climbing hills, unsurprisingly. However, please note that heavier riders may find reduced performance when tackling inclines.

Moving our 2023 Dualtron Ultra V2 review onto battery life & charging. Boasting a beefy 60V 32Ah Lithium-ion battery with cells sourced from LG; resulting in a near unbeatable range & battery life. This bigger battery is likely the cause of extra weight, however for such remarkable range, we this a worthy sacrifice. Furthermore, Dualtron have utilised Li-ion cells from LG, a renowned brand and industry leaders, further attesting to the overall quality of this amazing eScooter.
As a result, riders should expect at least 3-4+ years of continuous use before any faults occur. One slight downside to this bigger battery is an increased charge time; with the default 20 hour charge being one of the longest charge times we’ve seen so far. However, riders can cut this time in half to 10 hours with a secondary charger, thanks to this models’ dual charging utility. How long does it take to charge?
Quite a long time. Charge time of 20 hours with standard charger (10 hours with dual charging, 5.3 with quick charger).
How long will the battery last for?
Standard Li-ion batteries typically last somewhere between 500-1000+ charge cycles before faults arise. Due to the fact that premium quality LG Li-ion cells were used, we should expect the latter half of this figure. As a rough estimate, it would still take between 2-3+ years of daily charging to reach this point. Lastly, riders can enjoy a 6 month warranty on all purchases, keeping them covered throughout this time period.

Bringing our 2023 Dualtron Ultra V2 review onto design & ergonomics, to which this beast of a ride certainly delivers. Utilising aviation grade aluminium alloy, this eScooter certainly is strong & robust; capable of withstanding a number of harsh hits and bumps without buckling, bending or denting. However this, coupled with a massive motor comes at the cost of extra weight, resulting in a rather heavy 81 lbs ride.
Although further featuring a fully folding frame for easy transportation and storage, we believe that the weight makes this model unsuitable for use as a commuting eScooter. In terms of user interface, the display is conveniently situated in the centre, allowing riders to easily monitor their scooter stats.
Thanks to its great power & versatile tires, this model remains suitable for both on & off-road use, making it a top choice for most rider requirements. This is one of the few eScooter’s we’ve reviewed to include a heat sink, keeping both battery/motor cool & effectively extending overall component life.
Ergonomically speaking, this model is an easy & comfortable ride. Offering a wide & spacious deck, standing is no issue; with riders even able to install and optional seat, thanks to the versatile deck. Whilst a few quality of life features such as cruise control would be nice, we believe that this model should provide more than enough fun & functionality for any who pick it up.

What brakes does the Dualtron Ultra V2 Electric Scooter have?
Dual front & rear 160mm disc brakes with ABS (anti-lock braking system) standard offer decent stopping power. ABS’ prevent wheels from locking up during braking, further ensuring safety & rider control.
Is it foldable?
Yes – riders will have no issue folding, storing and transporting their ride; however please note that at 81 lbs (36 kg) this may be difficult for some riders.
Does it connect to your smartphone?
No – unfortunately this model does not offer any Bluetooth / mobile app support. However, we have found some evidence indicating that such a mobile app is in the works.
Does it work as a regular scooter?

Build quality and ease of use

In terms of build quality, this model certainly excels; utilising aviation grade aluminium alloy throughout the design, greatly increasing durability. Another awesome addition is the heat sink, efficiently expelling heat generated from the motors & increasing reliability/lifespan. The spring suspension is fully adjustable, eating up bumps and potholes in the road to ensure a smooth ride.
It’s clear that quality control is a key motivator for Dualtron, utilising only top quality materials and even offering up to 6 months warranty. Speaking of top quality materials, the Li-ion battery cells are sourced from industry leaders & highly reputable LG; known for their near unbeatable battery cells & even collaborating a few times with Tesla.
The dual disc brakes are robust & responsive, capable of stopping riders on demand. However, please note that sharp stops at top speed (50 mp/h) remain dangerous and should be avoided. In terms of ease of use, this model is a breeze to ride, with a spacious deck and straightforward control scheme. The LCD display is centrally located, allowing for easy speed checks & diagnostics. A number of brakes remain throughout the design, with 2 brake levers on the handlebars and a rear foot brake.
Thanks to the inclusion of such terrific tires, riders will have no issues riding both on & off-road, one of the few models available that offer such versatility. All in all, whilst a little more expensive than some models, both the design & performance are top quality, swatting away many competitors. How easy is it to carry?
Quite cumbersome. On account of its tough frame, big battery & motor, this model weighs in at 81 lbs (36 kg); which is quite heavy for an electric scooter, thus making it fairly unsuitable for commuters climbing stairs and young/elderly riders.
How smooth is the ride?
Surprisingly smooth, thanks to decent spring suspension and those great tires we talked about earlier. Whilst this eScooter remains suitable for both on & off-road, we still recommend taking it easy and not crashing into a tree at 50 mp/h. Alongside this, please keep an eye out for potholes & other bumps in the road, as they can potentially cause a loss of rider control.

Switching our Dualtron Ultra V2 review onto its arguably most important section; safety & usability on the road. As we know, staying safe when riding at any hour is paramount to any rider. Therefore, features such as lighting and responsive brakes have greatly improved, often becoming standard.
Although we’ve made this point a few times before in this article, we still believe the brakes are of decent quality and offer superb stopping power. Whilst this model contains rear brake lighting & front deck lighting, we were worried about the lack of headlight.
Thankfully, this scooter design further features a clamp for aftermarket lighting, which we heavily recommend riders pick up. Both seeing & staying seen are the most important factors when riding on darker days. As such, we insist riders wear adequate safety gear, such as reflective/high-visibility clothing, gloves, a helmet, etc.
